FORS MARSH GROUP BECOMES CLIMATE NEUTRAL CERTIFIED

Fors Marsh Group (FMG) is proud to announce it is officially Climate Neutral Certified. In response to the urgency of the climate crisis, FMG, a research-first consultancy committed to tackling society's greatest challenges, committed to measuring and offsetting all 2020 carbon emissions and reducing future emissions. FMG's primary responsibility will be to decrease greenhouse gas emissions generated in its goods and services production, operations, and shipping.

"In April 2021, we publicly declared a climate emergency and committed to cutting our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by half and reaching net-zero operations by 2030. Climate Neutral's certification is based on internationally recognized carbon measurement, neutrality, and offsetting standards. FMG measured its Scope 1, 2, and 3 cradle-to-customer greenhouse gas emissions for the previous calendar year and purchased verified carbon credits to offset its entire footprint as a means of direct investment into critical carbon sequestration projects. FMG has contributed to offset projects, such as wind energy in China, rain forest protection in South America, and biomass waste utilization in India. Finally, the company committed to a reduction action plan to cut future emissions within a 12–24-month timeline and will report progress updates annually. FMG has drafted a Sustainability Action Plan that will further the company's immediate emission reduction goals. FMG's data is publicly available on Climate Neutral's website.
